Can I extend my stay in the USA and work for the following summer or winter?

Depending on your visa type this may be possible. If you are on an employer sponsored H-2B visa we can facilitate a visa extension for those wishing to roll employment over from a summer to winter or winter to summer. This is a popular option for those wishing to spend a full year in the USA! If you are on a J-1 visa it is generally not possible. There is however a 12 month J-1 visa which is available to Australian or New Zealand students in their last year of study or who have been in tertiary study in the last year.
